$40 Counselling!

08A8B5DD-D8CA-4431-B6BC-BEB575E73E96

For anyone who may be financially struggling right now and would like some counselling support, I’ve got a lovely, dedicated, caring student named Carmen who is currently completing her Master’s in Counselling that I will be supervising in my practice from now through the Fall.

She’ll be doing 50 min Zoom or phone sessions on a sliding scale of $40-$70, though given the current world situation, we are more than happy to make it $40 for all.

Here’s what Carmen wrote to describe her experience:

My journey to becoming a counsellor began working with children diagnosed on the autism spectrum and their families. My interest in holistic wellbeing furthered while working at a naturopathic clinic. I have also experienced the expansiveness of a counselling relationship, and I am honoured to offer this to others.

I support clients to find a deeper inward gaze, strengthening their relationship with themselves and others. I work with each client to navigate challenges, helping them to experience their own unique healing process. I help clients cultivate presence, vitality and self-compassion.

Mindfulness based therapies, attachment theory, neuroscience and feminist approaches to mental health inform my work with clients. I hold a holistic, person-centered and trauma-informed perspective. I also have a deep reverence for the body, integrating somatic and movement practices. I am passionate about women’s work, promoting positive body image, self-esteem and embodiment of feminine power.

Please feel free to share this with anyone you think may benefit and let me know if you would like to book a 15 min consult with her to see if it might be a fit.

PRAISE

“Circlework provided for me a space to reflect and feel connected to myself and other women. To be able to take that feeling—that space—with me day to day provided me with a sense of empowerment and reassurance to any challenges I may face.”
