My Work with Teen Girls

I have a very specific niche with girls in their late teens (17+). I have worked extensively with people diagnosed with eating disorders and I am well-experienced in teaching boundaries, consent and assertiveness, which I developed over time working in highschools for the organization Safe Teen. In this work, I realized the necessity for all blossoming young women to have a safe place where they can share their discomforts, identify boundary ruptures, and establish a confidence in speaking their needs!

I don’t prefer to work with teens who are in crisis. Serious self-harm in young people hurts my heart, so that’s my boundary. Of course, we never know what direction things might go for someone, and once I start working with someone as my client, I will remain available to them throughout my time as a therapist, but if you are looking for someone for your daughter who is feeling a lot of despair or struggling with symptoms of PTSD, I recommend finding a therapist with a phd or significant training in the area your teen needs support in.

If you are looking for someone for a youth who is anxious or dealing with low self-esteem and could use support in terms of learning what it means to be honoured & respected, and claiming their gifts as empathic, intuitive, passionate, powerful humans.

“Circlework provided for me a space to reflect and feel connected to myself and other women. To be able to take that feeling—that space—with me day to day provided me with a sense of empowerment and reassurance to any challenges I may face.”
