Earth Priestess is on a mission to empower The Feminine for all people to flower and thrive.

What I mean by "The Feminine" is an eternal principle that transcends gender, but can also be expressed through gender.

For centuries, women have been twisting and contorting themselves in various ways to fit into the norms & expectations of the world as we know it.

We are now waking up to all the ways that we’ve been limiting our deeper wisdom or hiding aspects of our whole truth.

Expressing more of our essence means becoming aware of the true potential that we have in the body and world we reside in.

Today’s greatest threat to women’s freedom is what Marion Woodman called the “addiction to perfection”. This “never good enough” mentality means that no matter how much we do, it's never enough.

Inspired by great leaders in the field of feminine psychology & embodied spirituality, I have created this podcast with the hopes of broadening our theoretical understanding of the missing feminine side of psychology, moving as a collective through the not-enough wound and growing together in practical ways through this potent time on earth.

To let shit go, you have to feel.

To feel, you need space.

In the dance we’ve been doing on retreat with Awakening Women, the instructions are:
1. Notice it.
2. How does it feel?
3. Give it space.

In a well-held space, all women are healers and everyone is the healer of themselves.

I LOVE psychotherapy. It can help heal parent wounds like nothing else, and help us to release shame and self-criticism from the ol’ black bag (Robert bly) but anyone who’s invested in doing even the most bank-breaking therapy knows that eventually there are limits to the work you can do with one other.

I know I tend to always circle back to this, lol, but the only thing another person can ever do for us is lead us back home to ourselves.

Therapy is not a panacea for every psychological wound that exists…There’s no magic bullet or secret weapon.

It does really work well for sending quite a few demons out to sea… But, because some wounds surround what’s missing in our tribe-less modern reality… the celebrations, the initiations in the arms of elders, being seen in our gifts by many… all needed to complete the healing package.

I’m curious, who would want to gather in a women’s temple in Vic? Throw your hands up and let me know 🙌🏻

New beginnings are a ride sometimes.

If you were ever intimately bonded with someone who consistently warped the truth, it may take time to trust again.

I feel you, sister.

It can feel hard to know what's true if your felt-sense seemed sometimes very positive with someone who took for granted your skills of trusting and non-judgment.

Makes complete sense.

But as woo-woo as it may sound, love is something you give rather than take. If you are an open-hearted person who took that risk and got burned, it's not your fault.

We don’t want to be naive. We need to know if the ideas of the person you are feeling steamy about align with the deeper values that you have worked so hard to nurture in this frustratingly patriarchal world.

But, so long as are not being fed lies or baked in half truths … if true partnership is something you desire - what else is there to do but to share yourself, to take the risk, to drop from the philosophical train tracks into the emotional and energetic inner dance opening up within you alongside this other.

I don’t need to know what side anyone’s on or how much you know about a subject. I need to see your soul dance and know if you will give up the identities that you hold as precious in exchange for deeper truth.

Women are not a problem to be solved.

Women know that there is no ‘less than’, or even ‘best self’, as there is no outer measure of success.

I’ve been sitting this week with a lot of love, touch, sound, song and body movement of women in a 3 week retreat in Corfu with Chameli Ardagh & priestesses gathered to flow, allow, and share gifts with one another.

Women in their raw Shakti power are healing as fuck. 💥🌺💥

I just love re-remembering again and again that all the books can be thrown away, that nobody else has the answers for your life but you, that even though the world can feel like such a fucking mess sometimes, we have a remedy, too…in our voices, in our blood, in our bones, in our breath.

I’m so done with seeing The Feminine minimized and belittled.

Our nurturing, our healing touch, our liberated sexual energy is exactly what is needed to transform all the ugly.

Every breath is an invitation.

You are here right now.

All of you is welcome.

If you are waiting for your purpose to be hidden in someone else’s mind, embedded in the pages of someone else’s handbook for life, look up instead into the lights in the sky, close your eyes and breathe into your root.

Green Tara was told to pray to be reborn so that she could achieve enlightenment...but she refused.

She pledged to be born as a woman in every one of her 10,000 incarnations and to attain Buddhahood as a woman.

They say that what differentiates Green Tara from other versions of Tara is Enlightened Activity, or protection from the samsaric world.

I like embodying different aspects of Tara. If I am feeling firey and "seeing red", I open my crown to connect with the sky and I bring in blue....transmuting tension and invoking spiritual energy 💙.

We all go through stages, phases and moments of seeing our personal issues on others out in the world (projection), but lately I have been feeling less stuck heat around the ins and outs of all going on.

I will always be on fire for women's rights as there is so much for us to integrate on a whole, but I’m tired of thoughts and knowledge has limits. In the now, I feel I’ve looked at every angle.

Women are the creators. Our power is mostly minimized. Many women are still not free, and none of us are free until we all are. I believe that we scratched the surface in terms of the feminine gaining her full honouring.

But, I rest knowing that wheels are in motion. We are ahead in many ways. We have started to ask for and receive support. We have started to speak more truth.

I see the voice of the feminine returning and it blasts my heart wide✨💖✨

So, lately, I find myself asking: "Who stands up for the good-hearted men?"

There are men that need care. Not that it's our sole job to nurture them!! They need men's groups to express. They need therapy to be held in care by the mother and father energies that weren't there at times when guidance and love would have been the answer.

These men who are doing their work .... the world needs them. They have a unique contribution to society. Each person has value that we require. Every one of us is needed.

I guess I am moving on from the part of me that had to section things out for the inner work to be done; lately, my inner world feels more green. I love women so much, and I'm straight-up loving kind men, too 💚 💚 💚

Wild stuff can happen when you feel safe enough to be yourself.

I spent 4 years in a relationship in which I really could not be. It seemed I had to fit into another person's world view and identity. But, I believe now that I was more than what he could see, so I spun ideas like vines to wrap around what seemed to be.

On some level, I'm really glad I tried back then. Sometimes we learn boundaries the hard way!

But as of late, unexpected things have easefuly poured themselves in like soothing honey blessings to a heart nest 💛 hehehe

You can carry pain like a heavy load on your back or stifling vines like a cage around your chest...

Or you can let pain can be a source of medicine. 🍯

You can learn the language of your body and make beauty from it's quiet resistance.

You can find the spots where you were squeezing in and you can breathe right in instead.

You can learn to know the tired and fallen, the heavy, the showing up, the bursting open and overflowing parts of human experience.

You can give up all restrictions and restraints, despite that little bit fear, “what if I still don’t know what's true?’ You can trust again your views and the light that’s shining through.

You can trust again.

My friend and colleague Anne-Marie and I have been sitting with people this year with legal exemptions for high-dose mushroom journeys.
One theme that we have found that tends to come up in integration is that people wondered if they took enough or if they can re-do it soon, because their expectations had them wanting to see more, let go of reality more,
or see something specific.
We come from the place that maybe there is more to explore than first thought... but to get there maybe we need the presence and gentle curiousity of each other to pull the insights through!
One person was looking at the clouds for much of his journey and said "all I did was look at clouds"... but when we asked, we found out that the sky was really quite extraordinary. When we got curious and loving with our questions ... we all found out that, actually, those clouds held in them the unbelievable perfection of nature.
Trying to make anything perfect often gets in the way of us seeing the perfection that is already before us.
Each and every one of us is a miracle of nature. And, we are social beings. We need connection with others to feel the profound beauty of belonging.
When we feel welcomed, everything makes more sense.

I realize that the motivation for these online quizzes is to gather your personal info, but I couldn’t resist this one and think it’s actually pretty accurate! 🌻 Though I’ve spent the last decade trying to train myself out of the word ‘happy’ (since it can conjure up all the associations we have in our culture with toxic positivity - valuing the ‘higher’ feelings over our equally valuable feelings of pain, grief, sadness, truth)! Let’s say ‘safe and healthy’. In our culture, even the word health has become entangled with images of green smoothies and ‘good attitudes’, but I believe it’s about the life-forward energy that’s always coursing through us in its attempt to move us forward.
